Welcome to Pollino National Park! My name is Giuseppe Cosenza, founder of Viaggiare nel Pollino and an Official Certified Wilderness Guide.

My lifelong passion for the outdoors began as a child roaming my family’s countryside farm. That early bond led me to study Agricultural Sciences at the University of Perugia, advocate for wilderness preservation with WWF, and dedicate my life to leading travelers through the untamed landscapes of Southern Italy.

Whether guiding high-altitude ridge treks, photographing rare wild orchids, or sharing centuries-old mountain traditions, my mission is to connect visitors with nature safely, meaningfully, and authentically.
